Maharaj
I.S.Wahi, is a senior industry
professional and a well-known personality
in the Tourism Industry of India. He
is the Chairman and Managing Director
of the company and is also the Immediate
Past President of Indian Association
of Tour Operators (IATO) (www.iatoindia.com),
an apex organization at the National
level involved in the planning of Government
Tourism policies and also looking after
the interests of Tourism professionals
in India. He is also, the Chairman of
Convention Committee of IATO & has
convened many conventions organized
in the interest of Tourism professionals
on National & International levels.
Recognising
Maharaj Wahi's experience of tourism
in his teens, the students body of
Delhi University elected him as the
minister of tourism of his college
parliament, from where he graduated,
way back in 1967. Since then, he has
come a long way, over the decades
he is known to be an active crusader
on issues which range from tourism
to wildlife and almost all spheres
of hospitality.
Under
his dynamic leadership and with his
high professionalism, TPB has been
a front runner, he has personally
escorted and provided thousands of
tourists, memorable experiences.
He
has been serving the tourism industry
as an executive committee member,
Hony. Treasurar, Vice-President and
President, of Indian Association of
Tour Operators (IATO), since 1986.
His
avid interest in wildlife and environment
has led him to devote a lot of his
time and energy on conservation. He
is actively associated with leading
conservational organizations in India
and abroad.
The
department of tourism, government
of India, has many a times made him
a member of the Hotel Classification
Committee, which classifies, evaluates
and grades various hotels in the country.
He has classified more than 300 properties.
He
has received various awards for his
contributions and has been a columnist
in leading travel related journals,
magazines and national newspapers.
He
has traveled extensively around the
globe and understands the unique requirements
of tourists from different regions
of the world. He has provided for
tourists from North America, Europe,
Asia, Africa & Australia.
He
is known for his crisis management
capabilities and has delivered against
all odds. He is actively involved
in overseeing every tourist's requirements
that TPB takes care of, ensuring excellent,
personalized, memorable experiences.
In
India he is popularly known as Maharaj
and overseas his friends call him
Billy.

- Renuka Wahi |

Renuka
Wahi, is a veteran tourism
professional in India, right from her
college days. She graduated from Delhi
University with Hons and co-founded
TPB with Maharaj Wahi in 1971. She has
been instrumental in the growth of TPB
since its inception days, she has escorted
many a tours / treks and has successfully
contributed to providing memorable experiences
for the tourists.
With over two decades
of experience she is an expert on
Indian tourism.
Her travels have
taken here around the globe several
times, including Asia, Africa, Europe,
North America and Australia. She has
provided logistical and operational
expertise to ensure an excellent standard
of services. She has also closely
monitored the finances of the company.
Her experience with
thousands of tourists nutured her
desire to own and operate a bed and
breakfast which hosts many a tourists
each year from a variety of countries.
These tourists have now become her
global friends and well wishers!

Marketing - Siddharth Wahi |

Siddharth
Wahi, Director Marketing,
is a graduate from Delhi University
and has received post graduate training
in Tourism Marketing & Operations
from International Tourism Institute,
Luzern, Switzerland. Technology has
changed the way the Tourism Industry
does business now. Siddharth has kept
himself up to date on leading and
cutting edge technology and has attended
various short programs on tourism
and marketing.
He has conceptualized,
designed and updated many a travel
websites and looks after the TPB Group
websites and web marketing initiative
and overall web presence.
He
has been actively involved in the
trade for over a decade. He is an
active member of the Indian Association
of Tour Operators (IATO) and has positively
contributed to the industry in many
capacities. His knowledge of the Internet
proved handy for the Association when
it unveiled its first Official
IATO trade website
in 2002, conceptualized and designed
by Siddharth. It was considered to
be one of the most comprehensive
trade sites, at
that time.
He has provided host
services at PATA conference in New
Delhi and TTW Montreux, Switzerland.
Since he was born
in a family where both parents were
actively involved in hospitality services,
he has from a very young age developed
a comprehensive understanding of the
trade and the unique requirements
of tourists. He specializes in tours
to the Indian Sub-Continent and East
Asia, he also has vast knowledge and
experience in various other segments
of the tourism and hospitality industry.
He has travelled
extensively in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka,
Pakistan, Thailand, Singapore,
Malaysia, Switzerland, Austria, Germany,
Spain, Italy, France, United Kingdom,
Canada and the U.S.A.. All this travel
experience allows him to create travel
products that appeal to a variety
of market segments.
He has escorted many
a tourists and ensured high quality
of services. He has attended many
conferences and trade fairs on tourism,
like WTM, ITB, TTW, ATM, PATA, ASTA,
ACTA, IATO, TAAI, SATTE, TAAP, NATA
and many, many more, where he researched
tourist's requirements and developed
quality business for TPB.
He is currently a
resident of Canada and provides quality
services to TPB clients in North America
& Western Europe. His research,
understanding of the Asian region
and deep product knowledge enables
TPB clients to choose and enjoy a
wide selection of tours in the Indian
Sub-Continent and East Asia.
Friends
in the industry know him as Sunny
and love the Sunny Vacations he creates
for them.

Ekta
Capor, is a graduate from
Delhi University and has earned an
MBA from Pune. She has an artistic
mind and has produced various short
digital films and documentaries on
Indian Tourism destinations. During
the production of one of her films
on Varanasi (the religious capital
of India) she had a chance encounter
with Maharaj Wahi, which led to her
foray into the Tourism Industry. She
now has over 3 years experience in
the Indian Travel and Tourism Industry,
ever since she joined TPB in 2003.
The creative part of her personality
allows her to provide valuable inputs
to the TPB Travel Product Line.
Ekta is looking after
the Inbound and Outbound tours department
at TPB, with her extensive product
knowledge & excellent rapport
with Hotels, Transport companies &
other suppliers. She is able to negotiate
quality services at value for money
prices.
Her
tenure with TPB has frequently been
dotted with a number of appreciation
letters from the clients handled by
her department. Interacting with TPB
guests, understanding their needs
and delivering what they want, is
what she considers the high points
of her work..
Due to her excellent
management skills & knowledge
of the product, the company has progressed
manifolds, with many, repeat customers.
Her travels have
taken her accross India, Nepal, Thailand,
Singapore, Malaysia and she looks

Sharma, has been associated
with Indian Tourism Industry for over
two decades now. He has held responsible
positions in the Govt. of India, Department
of Tourism and has worked at important
tourist hubs like Mumbai, Delhi &
Jaipur.
Being
a virtual storehouse of information
and an expert on Cultural Tourism,
he has been a favourite of a large
number of tour operators from Europe
and USA who specifically ask for his
expert services.
He
worked as General Manager with Travel
Promotion Bureau Pvt. Ltd.(TPB) from
1980 to 1988 and continues to have
a very close association with TPB
as a Sr. Travel consultant, till date.
He

V.
Laxmi, is a graduate from Vishakhapatnam
University, she is a bright new face
in the TPB Team, like most recent graduates
she wasn’t quite sure about the
carrier of her choice, till she faced
her first interview at TPB in 2004.
She has now a couple of years experience
in the Indian Tourism Industry and hasn’t
had the urge for a change since.
She looks after and provides logistical
support to the entire TPB Team in
New Delhi and enjoys the challenge
of providing seamless everyday office
support to ensure smooth handling
of the operations.
When
she is not at work, she can be found
unwinding with her friends and catching
up on the latest Bollywood movies
and trends. She looks forward to contributing
to the “memorable experiences”
of TPB guests.
